The Hotel Brasil is a majestic construction with style Art Deco located in Historical Centre of the Guantanamo City, in the street Calixto Garcia between Emilio Giró and Crombet. At the moment the Hotel Brasil is out of service, the building is immersed in a process of general repair and investments.
This hotel is conformed by a building of two floors and one tower of four. In the first floor this located the lobby, the desk, the restaurant and an ample kitchen, the public baths and the administrative offices. In the second, third, quarter and fifth level are all the rooms and the terrace, by its center stairs leads at all the levels.
The modifications to improve the conditions of habitability and comfort of the building include:

Modify the facade of Hotel to achieve a more coherent image, seeking to unite the two wings through the vain and masonry, enhancing sobriety from ArtDecó in the building.
The Hotel Brasil terrace will be partially covered with a pergola, to ensure its operation during the day.
Create the ideal conditions on the hotel terrace to receive small format groups.
Rebuilding throughout the system of services in the first level to create independent access to each service and reorganize the desk and restaurant areas.
Install a new air conditioning system and create an atmosphere with artificial light in the restaurant and the entire lounge where are the lobby and the desk of the Hotel Brasil.
Include a lobby bar.
Resize the rooms to the dimensions and requirements of a three stars accommodation.
The Hotel Brasil will have 23 rooms with private bathrooms, furniture and decoration specially designed to combine with the style of the construction and to fulfill with the standards of three stars city hotel. The rooms windows located in the tower will give awesome views of the Guantánamo City.
The Hotel Brasil as an installation totally rejuvenated and with new facilities must once again open its doors for the second semester of year 2008. This hotel will work in the modality of cultural tourism and will be operated by Islazul Hotels.
